Lose weight without feeling hungry? Tips for real killers!

The scale indicates that you are not yet beach-body-ready, even though you have been losing weight for quite some time. Your problem? You constantly suffer from a feeling of hunger and that is why you may secretly eat more or different food than prescribed. Enough is enough? Real die-hards counteract their hunger with these responsible tips!

Tip 1. Drink more water!

According to the nutrition center you should drink about 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day. If you do this to suppress your feeling of hunger, you will certainly keep your moisture level up. Only drink water? No, you can also alternate with unsweetened (herbal) tea.

Tip 2. Go for a hearty breakfast

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is not for nothing, because it provides a lot of energy to get through the day. Therefore, go for a hearty breakfast that will last you for hours. For example, choose oatmeal or cottage cheese, possibly combined with pieces of fruit and nuts.

Tip 3. Choose proteins, not carbohydrates

Proteins digest faster than carbohydrates. So if you eat something that contains a lot of protein, the feeling of hunger will last longer. For example, eat chicken, nuts, seeds or legumes, but keep an eye on the size of the portions.

Tip 4. Get up and move!

No one has ever gotten fitter or slimmer from an office chair-sitting or couch-hanging life. So get up and move! Don’t know how? Run a cloth over that window sill. Vacuum behind that heavy cupboard. Clean something, then you immediately have a good reason to get up!

Tip 5. Think about your goal

Just imagine the life you think you’ll get when you reach your goal. Do more men or women wink at you? Can you finally keep up with that fitness teacher? Do you run a marathon and win? Keeping your dreams always in mind helps you reach your goal!

Tip 6. Only pack healthy snacks

Fruit and nut bars can help you not think of fries with sweet and creamy mayonnaise. Can you already see the bowl of fries? We thought so! Now grab an apple, pear or other piece of fruit and judge for yourself whether this tip works.

Losing weight responsibly is certainly not easy, but it is not impossible either. If you manage to achieve your goal with the help of these tips, then you are a real killer. We believe in you!
